Ottawa Riverkeeper is hosting a workshop to help members of the public better understand how to frame and use Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) requests.
We will spend the afternoon demonstrating how to frame, file and follow ATIPs so that participants are better equipped to obtain the information they are looking for, such as information about projects or developments happening throughout the watershed.
When: Friday, March 22, 2019, 1 pm – 4:30 pm
Where: McNabb Recreation Centre (Community Room), 180 Percy St, Ottawa, ON
Free parking is available at this location and it is accessible by public transportation.
The workshop will be conducted by Ken Rubin, a public researcher, who has been involved in this field for many years. A full bio can be found on his website: http://kenrubin.ca/
To attend, please register by March 19th so we can properly prepare for the workshop.
